Gozali has also held leadership positions at Bank Indonesia offices in Gorontalo, East Kalimantan, and South Sumatra provinces.

He previously served as Vice Chairman of the Bank Indonesia Employees Association (IPEBI).

His appointment as Deputy Governor was confirmed by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia No. 68/P of 2025, dated 29 July 2025. The term of office is five years.
