We will continue to innovate and expand the reach of Internet Rakyat, because every Indonesian deserves fast, stable, and affordable digital access,” said Yune Marketatmo, President Director of Surge.

Backbone and Broadband Rollout Expand Nationwide

In 2025, Surge is focusing on two infrastructure priorities. The company is expanding its national fiber optic backbone to connect more intercity routes, transit hubs, and commercial corridors.

Surge is also scaling residential broadband deployment across more than 400 railway stations in Java and surrounding regions.

This rollout is in collaboration with over 500 local ISPs and contractors, enabling cost-efficient network expansion and reaching underserved communities.
